I won a few lots of Reno and Tahoe casino postcards in that same live auction -- there was a video feed of the auctioneer taking floor bids as well as online bids from several sites, including eBay. I guess that's why all the bidders had just one ID -- the bids were entered by the live auction as they were placed from different sources.

This was my first live auction on eBay -- I guess by entering a minimum opening bid on a few lots in advance, I got them by default when there were no other bidders at the auction.

Now I've got to figure out what to do with a few hundred old postcards from Nevada hotels and casinos -- I didn't actually think I'd be the only bidder.
