There are no errors in colour here as far as I know, just a rubbish scanner!!!

I suspect that you are saying "rubbish" scanner because of the image quality (fuzziness). However, the scanner is also altering colors on many of the chips. This is because your scanner does not handle certain versions of red, hot-pink, hot-orange and a few other colors.

Showing wrong color of inserts or base:

Ambassador $25 (insert)

Circus-Circus $1 (inserts)
Circus-Circus $5 (base and inserts)
King 8 (inserts)
People's Choice (inserts)
Sahara $1 (inserts)
Mahoney's Silver Nugget, both (base)
Stratosphere $5 (base and 1 insert)

There are a few more, but I think you get the point. Next time you get a scanner, be sure to get one based on CCD capture of images.
