every 4-6 weeks i put up auctions on eBay with 125 to 175 chips. while some prices are disappointing generally speaking my price break is usually met! more importantly than that i usually add about 50 NEW buyers to my email list each time. they are generally not avid collectors but are collectors nonetheless! while our hobby has had some troubles so has almost every other hobby! the ANA had 37,000 members about 3 years ago, today they have, so i have been told, 25,000 members, coin collecting is not a dying hobby and neither is ours! IMHO!
