After years of hoarding chips while sick and not having the energy to sell, my "collections" were overwhelming me. This year after some drastic change in therapy, I returned full of energy, alert and with a clear head that did not have for years. Took advantage of that to organize my collections. Sold or trade most of my chips I did not cared for and by now have all the chips/collections I am keeping organized to a T and money to invest in those collections. But was not a pain free process, do to previous lack of organizations made some bad screw ups.
The worse was when I found in my extras from FL Illegals & C&S a Floridian 25 & 50. John purchased the $50 and after not hearing from the board, kept the "extra" 25. Sure enough a few days later realized those were not my extras, those came from my collection!!!
Could not find a substitute and meekly asked John if he would sell me the chip back at a much higher price. John understood my problem, refused to charge me a penny more than his cost & I had the chip well packed in 48 hours. Yes, many of us would have probably done the same, but unfortunately too many of us would have taken advantage of my weak position.
Thanks John, you and your orchids are very special
