I have learned by lesson. There are some who make controversial posts on the ChipBoard, presenting personal opinions as fact, and making unkind remarks about others. In my opinion those who make these negative posts are looking for ATTENTION. If you respond to them, negatively or positively, you are giving them the ATTENTION they want. If you do not respond, they starve. I know that it is tough to remain quiet when filth is spread about the hard working volunteers that run the CCGTCC, especially when you want to defend your friends. But, I believe that silence is the best policy here. Know that others also realize that these remarks are lies, but generally do not want to get involved. You are not alone in wanting to respond to the negative posts. If you feel the need to respond, make a post about something positive, like your favorite chips or a chip related story, and divert ATTENTION away from the negative posts. Hopefully if we starve those who seek negative ATTENTION, then they will fade away.
