I remember walking through Rosie O'Grady's when they offered the coin tossing game in the grand staircase area.
A little internet research tells me it was known as "Two Up". A whole lot of whoopin' and hollerin' with lots of people
watching from the floor and the balconies around the game. Didn't seem to be much gambling action, though.
