I want to personally apologize to anyone I may have cursed for sending me a chip surrounded by a near impenetrable vault..... After just receiving a rather pricy chip... (pricy to me anyway) haphazardly stapled in some cardboard that didn't even cover the chip... Spending hours extracting the hundreds of individual razor sharp staples in fear of scratching my patient.. After removing it from a thin inadequate barely cushioned mailer.... Just when I think I've seen it all....! Joking aside I'm honestly surprised the chip didn't made it intact.. I know everyone can't afford to send chips in air-tight containers, and 99‰ of sellers do a great job of protecting or even over protecting the chip... But this was just stupid... Perhaps this can be a distraction after all these crazy, election postings... Saying crazy is me being kind... I'm no longer a member of the club, and I know I have no business interjecting my opinion, but as I've been told and read many times in the past, this is not a club board... I really haven't ran into anyone here that isn't friendly or willing to help, and even when I brought up a previous issue I had, most people where impartial... Could it have been handled better by both sides? Of course, what situation can't always be handled better in hindsight.... It was handled and closed... And hopefully with no hard feelings..... This public display, seems like it's going to be a complete mess to clean up, and I'm only looking at it from the surface. I have no idea what the under current to all the hostilities are. In respect to a "good ole boys club", What club doesn't have members that are more active, knowledgeable, participative, then others... Does that define a "click" I don't know... I also don't know David Spragg personally, but I can tell and do feel he devotes a great deal of his time, money and knowledge to this board the club and it's members. Given that the club is just a club and not a nation state, I don't perceive any of what he does or positions held as a conflict of interest... It seems just on the surface, a lot is being made of a little and being done very publicly, and in the end it's the club that's going to have to take it on the chin and sweep up the mess, and that's not fair to the club or its members, or perhaps people that have been looking at this board and trying to decide whether or not they want to join the club... How many members or renewals has this public nonsense caused already... It's extraordinarily poisonous and not fair to the club or its members or people being publicly singled out.

I'm not on the inside, I'm not very well known, I'm not a frequent poster, I'm not even a club members anymore. I've been coming here on and off for a few years and I can honestly say I've never seen anything like what's going on now, it seems like it's interfering with what usually is a friendly place to come and, chat or do some chipping, conduct a little business... This has become completely unhealthy... I had no intention of getting involved, but after being off for a few days and catching up, I couldn't help myself...
