Would that be the plastic or paper center inlays that cover some fraction of the chips' surfaces?

It is good to have a reminder of why the RH&C mold color chips were made. I think I heard this at one time but it's been a long time ago. Hard to believe it's been almost 10 years since there was a lead-scare on clay casino chips. I've always felt this was a nothing issue... but some who will accept junk-science as gospel can make a lot of noise.
