I'm guessing they gambled in both locations Santa Monica and Los angeles.The Jonathan beach club was definitely in a location up the beach from the hotel.I used to watch them put out the umbrellas and cater to the people there when me and my friends would go body surfing.Im going to Santa Monica on the 11th and am going to check out the 3 hotels and see if still there,if so I will ask about the history.
