I have never been a member of the club. I first joined this board soon after Greg started it (I first got started on a board called Chequers or something like that - I can't remember if that was an early version of The Chip Board, but it's during that time that I became acquainted with Greg and collecting).

When club business was mentioned here - particularly the annual gripes about the way its convention was run - there were constant reminders that there was a club board and that this board was separate, unaffiliated, and included non-club-members like me.

Joe, I don't know you, and I have no candidate for an election where I can't vote. It's painful to watch a campaign struggle through the criticisms that have been coming out when you start threads like this one.
