When you are looking at the site, right above the messages you will see a link for "My preferences" click on that. Once in the preferences menu, pick how far back you want to see messages (I have mine set at 2 weeks), Change list style to Compressed List, change Display Style to Guestbook, and change Sort Order to UBB Order. Click update preferences.

There may be other ways to do it that work better but I really don't know what I'm doing and this has worked well for me so far.
