I was a member of a hobby website that underwent two changes, and the software never worked right. Comments wouldn't post, and then they double-posted. Photographs weren't visible. There was no working "reply" button on private messages. Administrators couldn't access the administration menus.

People drifted away, and eventually some guys overseas set up a competing board. The board I was on is now defunct.

I agree with those who say "if it ain't broke . . ." The appearance of this board doesn't scare younger collectors away.
