John got the day correct this time. Thanks to everyone who responded with greetings. This time festivities lasted 4 days.
It started by surprise on Friday afternoon when the phone rang. I could tell By Ann's response that it was Craig, our son who lives in Florida. After about a minute there was a knock on the door. I was in my undies but answered the door anyway. Craig was standing there & said Mom ,who are you talking to on the phone. He took us to dinner at The Rib Rack. We spent Saturday with Craig, His Daughter & 2 grand daughters. He took us to A Chinese buffet for dinner.
I had told my family no party this year, I am done with them. Our daughter Patty said come to our house for dinner which we do anyway on most Sundays. Well it was for family only. forty of us , plus our dog Beany. She said its not a party but a dinner. The cake was bigger than my printer & had Dad, Pop Pop. Great grand father, Great great grand father all printed on it. Great time was had by all.
Monday , Ann & I went to Shady Maple for a Pa. dutch buffet breakfast & spent the day in Lancaster county shopping as tourists. Stopped in Chester at casino on way home.
