The college football season is a slog for a head coach, so naturally USC’s Steve Sarkisian wanted to let loose at the “Salute to Troy” kickoff event on Saturday. It’s just that whoever was providing the booze forgot to cut him off.

Sarkisian was allegedly drunk at the event and swore during his speech, slammed rivals and needed to be wrangled offstage by AD Pat Haden and John McKay Jr., the son of former Trojans head coach John McKay. People at the event tweeted some of his more embarrassing antics:
