Maybe some of the guys that have been around can answer this one... I submitted the Sands dig chip I posted here last week to the The Chip Guide, and it was declined..

"We are unable to use your submission, we do not list variations due to "weathering". Why? We don't want to encourage anyone to weather a chip just so that it could be listed on the ChipGuide."

It's a slightly baffling answer, especially when most examples of this chip do have concrete damage, and why would anyone want to "weather" a perfectly good chip, just to get it on a Web sight.. Furthermore it's not a variation, it's the actual chip..... It's like Andy Hughes said.... Use it till something better comes along.... It doesn't really matter to me one way or the other, the reason for declining, doesn't seem to be making sense in my brain....
