Re: Question for Chip Guide and TCR Authors

Another example where the same chip exists in several colors. The only way to give the viewer guidance as to color is to have all the colors done on the same scanner with the same settings. Here are my three scanned at the same time.

There are three distinct colors. I don't know why TCR doesn't list all three of them in the latest edition. They only list yellow and salmon... no orange. In my opinion, they should add the orange variety. I hope this isn't another example of an opinion that a salmon chip changes color with use (as with the New China Club 10c). The chips shown are all essentially new and look different in color (although maybe that isn't want the casino thought they ordered).

I don't know how The Chip Guide wants to handle getting new scans from one collector in a case like this but I believe they need to find a way. The current scans of the Salmon and Orange colors don't show the real differences in hue.
