The Boat Bar was a place recently found to be in Key West. Two chips have been determined so far to come from this establishment. As you can see below, a page from M Lightermmans' great book/catalog.

However, few of the red "boat" chips were also found in Havana, Cuba. Not surprising as the owners of the place had some relation to the Jewish mafia that operated most casinos in Cuba and would use USA chips for the small "house/illegal casinos ) in Cuba.

In Cuba a decent number of a red chip with the name "Boat Bar" incripted appeared in Havana as well. You can see these below. However I am not aware that any of these "boat bar" chips showed up in the USA. Over ten years of researching Cuba, we have not found a single place with the name of Boat Bar or even close.

Still, I have a strong feeling that these chips with the name "boat Bar" were not from a Cuban establishment, but rather from the Key West establishment which were moved to Cuba to again operate in one of the mafia small illegal casinos there. The fact that none were found in the USA, does not necessary rules them out. Many FL chips from very well known institution were moved to Cuba and none were found in the USA, including the "Sunny Isles" chips, The Colonnial Inn 100, and many others.

If anybody has found any of these red "Boat Bar" incripted chips in the USA, PLEASE LET ME KNOW.
