When in Las Vegas I normally park on the top floor.
If it's summer and the sun is out I park on the 2nd from the top floor.
(Gawd I hate getting into a car that's 999.99° hot and a steering wheel that's even hotter!)
That way I know where I parked the rental.

Also, there's usually parking close to the elevator.
