Some time back, a TC illegal chip, supposedly from Florida, was listed on eBay. It matched the known TC Tower Club of Broderick, CA. And the seller explained that after the Turf Club (Hialeah, I think) was raided and shut down, the remaining chips somehow migrated to California (hopped a freight train?) and ended up as the Broderick ones. An interesting tale, to be sure, but without absolute proof. But the TC's you show now are a different lettering and mold. Maybe yours are fromt the true Turf Club of Florida? Or perhaps they arrived at the Florida East Coast RR station a bit tardy and missed the train.
