Strange that you are having problems with the "Search" function.

The Search feature here has always worked very well for me.

Same with searching the archives. The most difficult part of the archives is trying to guess the date range you are searching for, so you can find it in the proper archived Forum.

For as antiquated and simple of a Forum that this is, it works remarkably well, IMO.
