Did you actually see a purple coin inlay? Unless it was painted, I don't know how they would make it a color other than stainless steel or brass. No purple in The Chip Guide, and here are my two.

Are you maybe thinking of the one with 4 purple edge spots like the one below? It comes only in a silver colored CIC as far as I know.
