OK - here is the rest of the story !! The Black Dice and Cards Mold Hotel Nacional Havana, Cuba was in a group of 33 ASM Color Sample Chips I purchased from Marc Klein here on the Chip Board on July 17, 2015 - 2 weeks ago. It was the only chip in the group that was Hotstamped - all the other chips are assorted Mold blanks in uncirculated condition with color designations taped on the chips. See the scan below - the Hotel Nacional Black chip is in the Top Left hand corner of the scan.

I knew the Dice and Card Mold chip did NOT fit the Cuban Casino time frame, but I wanted to see what other collectors thought about the chip.

Marc Klein may have additional info on this chip and maybe he will comment on where and how he got the chips. Obviously someone went thru the trouble to Hotstamped the name on this Black chip - but who, when and why is the mystery.

No matter the reason this chip was created, I find it to be very interesting and just the sort of thing I like to collect.
