Last week played a WPT tournament at Choctaw Durant, OK where the WPT is staging a three-week tournament schedule -- tons of players each day and night. While there, I noticed a few bright, and sharp looking chips that I thought I would replace the ones in my collection. As I was scanning, I noticed that the casino had changed the chip manufacturer from CI to Game On and the chips I collected had the new Game On logo centered on the face.
Game On claims to have the finest, secure chips on the market, and upon close inspection with a magnifying glass, I noticed each value chip had an almost invisible Game On logo around the chip's face. Impossible to see without a magnifying glass. These came from the craps table -- they play craps without dice. Yep, they use an automatic shuffler, a special 12-card deck with 1 through 6 die photos represented twice on one side. Dealer shuffles with machine, takes all the cards and spreads face down, and once all the bets are made, dealer selects two cards. Cards speak for the roll. Table Felt is like a regular crap table. It was crowded, and hard to get a spot at the table. I asked and was told it's illegal to gamble in Oklahoma with dice!. Back to the chips, the colors are perhaps the most vibrant ever issued by the casino. These images have been submitted to the Chip Guide.
Here are the scans.
