My neighbor Larry Clark, a very smart sucessful business man whom I have know for 3-4 years, Told me this story. His father was from Scotland, and with his brother they wanted to come to the US. They booked passage on the Titanic, went to the port early, and went to a bar for some drinks. They got drunk and missed the sailing. I asked if he had the ticket or any paper work verifing this story, he said no. They both came to US later on another ship. I can find out his fathers full name, if anyone can verify his booking. I can't prove this story, but Larry is a straight shooter and I'm sure it is a true story, just a shame they didn't keep the doucs. in the family.
