Yes, you set a password. At Hotel Nevada you go to a kiosk and log in with your password to see what your points will get. You touch what you want, in my case it was a $5 comp for food. The kiosk prints a coupon which you take to the cashier with ID to get your voucher. Also when you move from one machine to another you must hit the log out button on your machine. You can be logged in at up to three machines at a time. Last year I didn't know about logging out and someone must have played the machines I had played. The next morning I had enough points for a free breakfast and $10 free play!
On another note, they have two Blackjack tables and one poker table. Blackjack is open daily from 3 - 11 PM with a $3 minimum. Poker opens Friday nights at 7:00.
The new chips were put into play on June 7. No chips sales from the cage. They had no problem selling $1, $5 and $25 chips from the tables in small quantities. I couldn't talk anyone into selling even one of the $2.50's! The only way to get them was to play and get a blackjack.
I didn't see any signs but I was told that a redemption notice for their old chips and tokens has been published.
