What with CSI: Crime Scene Investigation coming to a close, I set out to watch some of my favorite episodes on Hulu Plus. This is truly one of my favorites:
CSI: Crime Scene Investigation: Season 9, Episode 24
All In (14 May 2009):
Langston investigates a homicide which is connected to the discovery of rare valuable chips from a legendary casino from the 1980s.
In the episode everybody is running around trying to find the source of the Hux Casino chips which should have been destroyed back when the casino failed.
The episode opens with scenes of gambling while Hux Casino chips fall down and the whole intro is sung to Dean Martin's: Ain't That a Kick in the Head.
The casino action mostly takes place at Green Valley Ranch in Henderson. At the time GVR was doing a Reality show, as was the Hard Rock Pool area.
The episode reminded me of all the CB folks running around trying to get chips from the Pop's Oasis dig site. Except we didn't kill each other.
I wonder if there were any actual prop chips made for this episode, or are they just Hollywood fakes (stickers on select chips)?
