The contract states that we can not bring in our own food or beverages. We currently pay about $5 for each can of soda that are available at various areas of the show. Some other pricing information - we pay $56 per gallon of coffee and the wings and pizza at the volunteer banquet cost over $35 per person. The bar at the banquet costs $150 to set up. I do not know what else it would cost to keep a bar open during the convention but as you can see from the prices they are not giving away the catering. I have not analyzed the total convention costs yet but I imagine that the best we could do is to break even on it this year.
