The seller in question bought a few chips from me about a year ago, then immediately relisted them on for about four times what he paid me for them. I have no problem with that; he can ask whatever he wants for them.
But like John, my issue with him is when he deliberately misleads potential buyers in his auctions by including information he knows is wrong. I exchanged a few less-than-pleasant emails with him about this, and his defense is that he cites prices in James' book, which is the latest version of that book. That book is a valuable resource in the hobby, but it was published in 2009, and as we all know, the chip market in 2015 doesn't even closely resemble the chip market in 2009.
I blocked the guy from bidding in any of my auctions - not because I don't want his money but because I have no desire to do business of any kind with someone who is clearly dishonest in his auction descriptions.
