I was just thinking that putting it to a vote with the club paying 15K and the members willing to donate chips or cash totaling 15K on a trial basis for one year.I think hiring a knowledgeable,dedicated and hard-working employee to represent the club who was very Internet savvy and has a good understanding of social media with the ability to contact casinos,executives,hotels,institutions,organizations etc and have time to write letters,sendletters,texts,emails and make calls and appointments to promote,market and advertise or club/hobby would work and grow the club. I personally think it's worth a shot on a trial basis for one year but only if the board and our members vote for it and are willing to donate a small amount to get it started. I think 38 is probably too high but the contract could have incentives that would allow him or her to make much more than 38k would be fair and more in line but incecetives and bonuses based on performance could achieve maybe 50K just depending on the results. I personally think it's worth a shot on a trial basis for one year but only if the board and our members vote for it and are willing to donate at least $50 in chips,check or both. Weston is really a sharp guy and seems to want to help and assist us. I hope we are smart enough to take advantage of his generosity and valueble knowledge. My instincts rarely let me down and I like the idea and that's why I'm willing to front the first thousand dollars in chips guaranteed to the club if we get this approved through the board. This could be a great opportunity for the club and hobby. Doug we thank you for all you do! You and the board do an amazing job! But you have a full-time job plus run a family. It would be wrong to ask any more of you,t Bod and all the volunteers that help make the club what it is today. I was always taught that if you do the same thing and expect a different result that's insanity. Something to ponder over and think about. My two cents. Thanks for letting me rant.
