Thanks for considering my Ideas everyone...

I posted this message below on the Club Board and I think for now I'm done crabbing about the state of the CCGTCC.

I'll go back to making NCR posts grin after this.

I'm almost out of gas on the topic and will stop giving suggestions so at least you will not have to read more posts about growing the Club from me.

I've learned through numerous Non For Profit planning workshops that had all kinds of not for profits involved… most all 501c3's work the same way. They have a lifecycle stage. They have a mission and they work towards it every day till it is no longer relevant or the organization fails.

The Neon Museum and the Mob Museum are examples of organizations with similar missions to ours. They preserve and present history. They are structured like traditional Not For Profits. They are doing well.

CCGTCC Mission "preserving gaming history"

We need to retool and take a card from their play books.

This is not rocket science, we need help. Collecting chips that is not our problem, it is ignoring the signs of a declining organization and not involving a
501c3 planner/advisor.

Take a look at the typical 501c3 life stage model. see below. Where do you think we are? Read through the page...
