This was discussed with 2 different BODs which means 8 of the most full time volunteers you can find.

All agreed they didn't like this idea.

I personally have spent thousands of hours in the past 10 years doing most of what you believe an ED would do. I have personally raised tens of thousands of dollars for the club thru raffles, auction donations and other fundraisers.
I have received absolutely no pay for that.
I buy my own banquet ticket, registration and airfare for the convention.
Yes I do get a few free nights that cost the club nothing but I also pay for all the other nights myself.

Why should I not have been paid for my 10 years of service if we are going to pay someone else for doing the same job?
