This is just my opinion on the state of our Hobby. In the past few months being not able to come to the show I kind of asked around how is the show. Most dealers who deal with medium value chips did well . the first show I attended in 1996 . I was a amazed by the bid dollars on some chips .most collectors are the mid to low end chips . There will anyways be a chip hobby . The rare chips will be rare and high on iced unless a box appears . I've noticed a current Change though . Small town Nevada chips interest is not like it was . One example a rare $1 Star Broiler I lay chip used to sell in in the $1000 to $1200 range . In this years club auction it some at half price . Like the old saying if it's not broken why fix .
