I agree with what you said. Although South Point is a very nice resort, I think we need to move back either to the strip or downtown.
I began collecting when in a home game in 1970 a friend had a beautiful set of 300 design clay eagles & stars. I went looking for something to replace my 1940's plain clay set; kept finding odd looking designs; an antique dealer showed me an add in an antique paper from some guy by the name of Seymour who wanted to buy chips; I wrote him and he sent me some chips! I was hooked. Initially, I just sought design clays & ivories but kept finding ugly old chips with letters and $ signs; then stumbled on an ad for Nevada chips and off I went.
But like others I am growing old and need to pare down my collection; my two kids (in their 40's) are not interested.
