how about a different (or an added) name, something that is easier to say, easier to remember & encompasses what we truly collect (not just chips & tokens). If we simplify & un-categorize what's in the name, I believe that we can broaden the base of collectors to include ashtrays, matchbooks, slot glass, room kets, slot cards, etc... (pretty much Pam G's house ). I know that this was discussed before when I was a club officer, but I think that some more thought & investigation needs to go into it. The concern was always about the club's 501(c)3 status, yet we have a sub-category now known as "The Museum of Gaming History". I don't know if a DBA is a viable option, but it might be one that could at least be looked into. Or just do what was done with the MoGH -- put a name to it, create a cool logo & throw it on that inter-web thing plus social media.
