Ours is a small convention by Las Vegas standards, and I'm not sure how many if any of the larger Strip hotels would be willing to take us on. We wouldn't be filling as many rooms as most conventions do, we wouldn't be eating as many meals in the host hotel, and we wouldn't be gambling as much.

The conventions at the Tropicana several years ago were in a great location and probably attracted some walk-in customers. The Trop continues to struggle, from what I've read, and if a Strip option is in play, that might be our best bet.
