Grant Writing Is Not Difficult! vbg vbg

In my earlier days as a School Psychologist for the Irvine Unified School district, I wrote an ESEA Title IV-C grant for our district. It was a state-run program, funded by the Feds for innovative programs in schools. My funded project, entitled "Family Guidance Clinic" was not only funded, it became a state exemplary project and I was able to travel to other districts in the state to share the program.

Besides bragging a little, I wanted to share that grant writing is basically following rather strict guidelines provided by the funding agency. Of course, for a 501c3 organization, you do have to have your ducks in a row before submitting a grant proposal.

Just a thought for our club. It may come in handy for our museum.
