This has nothing to do with the job that the current BOD is doing (which they are doing a great job) except for one thing, they are TOO OLD.

If we are ever going to grow this club, there should be at least 1 member of the BOD who is in the 21 – 35 age range and who understands the Millennial Generation.

Look at the club today, I would guess the average age of the collector is 60+ and there are very few members who are under the age of 30 (that doesn’t have a “B” or “C” next to their club number).

We need to find ways to create an “experience” for the “under 35” collector that makes them want to come back year over year and want to invite others to the club.

Maybe next year, you create something for just the under 35 crowd on one of the nights of the convention. You have a “wife’s breakfast”, maybe you have something for the younger group.

Thoughts? Idea? (I can't help here....since I am "too old" myself).
