That is an improvement over a couple years ago. At one point, in Vegas, was only Sam's Town and Four Queens. Then El Cortez added one, Mirage added two, Venetian added three (now back to one) and Palazzo added one. There are still .999 fine red cap special editions at Four Queens, Mirage, Venetian and Palazzo. If you see blue caps in the machines, they are colorized limited edition, but silver clad. Last week, Four Queens added machines #7 and #8, so that is the place to go if you want to have a selection of machines. Sunshine Mint bought out the program from IGT a few years ago, and they have plans to expand the program. It will never return to it's former glory, but it's better than it was. You can redeem 30 clears for a .999 fine six ounce $300 at Four Queens, Mirage, Palazzo and Venetian. Sam's Town reloads many old redeemed .999 strikes back into their machine, so keep your eyes peeled for the .999 fine on the Strikes there.
