It is important (to me) that those people that we elect as club officers are people that we will be proud to represent our club's best interests. This means being intelligent, thoughtful & professional. This becomes even more important as we look to our BOD to explore new avenues to increase hobby exposure & club membership. What image do you want your club officers to project? What type of person do you want representing your hobby in negotiations with future convention sites or in discussions with potential Museum of Gaming History "partners"? The 's current BOD members are exactly the type of people that I want representing this club & this hobby moving forward -- intelligent, thoughtful, professional.

I heard a lot of good ideas at the convention on how to move this hobby & club forward. Many of these ideas came from our current club officers. I trust that they will do their due diligence and explore these ideas & suggestions. I'm sure that they will also review past ideas, because sometimes it's just a matter of timing & sometimes it's a matter of necessity where ideas, both new & old, are given a better look.
