I was at the Baccarat Casino today in Edmonton Alberta and noticed a huge building being constructed next door. I inquired with the casino security greeter and found out that the Baccarat casino is moving to new building next door and the old casino will be demolished when the new one opens in the summer of 2016.
I did some research when I got back to my computer and found the following article that explains the whole thing from Gateway Casinos and Enterntainment. The new casino looks like it will be renamed also so that will likely mean all the Baccarat chips will be destroyed once the new one opens.
The new one is going to be called the Grand Villa Edmonton Casino.
