I so wish I could have visited Old Vegas in the 60s. So much history. The country changed around it, but for a little while, Downtown hung on and stayed the same as it was in the classic 1950s era.

In the 60's I would have hung out at the Pu$$ycat 'a Go Go, The Flamingo and The Tropicana, as well as being a frequent visitor to Downtown!

I probably would have spent more time Downtown, as the properties were closer together, and easier to stumble to. (Read: ie, Get Drunk)

In 2004 An 18yo friend and I went on a Halloween Drunk Walk from Mandalay Bay to The Frontier. (The Frontier was as far as we made it). We took a cab back to the Golden Nugget where we were staying, and he passed out. I, on the other hand, went out to party!
