I have a question I haven't asked in sometime.
Back in the late 70's when AC was getting started there was a dealers school in Jersey City. A friend of mine was a partner. It was called Atlantic City Dealers and Croupier School. It never did get a license. (I'll tell why later). They did run some charity games. My friend has since passed away and I wondered if they had chips. I never did see any from there. Joey D. from Las Vegas use to teach there. I haven't heard his name or thought of him in years. But he may have the answer.
The reason they never got their license was because the Gaming Commission had to investigate them first which they had to pay for. In the investigation they needed of course to have an address for the school. The investigation took time and they were paying rent on a space they really couldn't use. Then when they started taking deposits from students the money had to go into an escrow account. They went bankrupt before they ever really opened.
