very nice...

No war today... vbg I did go go the Sacramento Antique Faire. I didn't find much, so I went up to Jackson, Ca. I had actually never been there except many years ago late at night racing to the Jackson Rancheria Casino. As far as ever going into town..I'd never been. I looked through the "open" stores and found a total of 8 chips. Most were overpriced or I had already had in my collection. I did buy 1 chip for a buck. vbg An El Cortez $25 chip that was worn.

We then headed off to Sutter Creek. Only a few miles away from Jackson. I found these 2 chips and 2 drink tokens there.
The guy I bought the Fan Club chip from claims it is from Sutter Creek, Ca. I took his word for it until I got home. It is listed as Concord, Ca. I don't know either way...but I like it!
We stopped at another little town (very little) on the way back ... Dry Town, Ca...Population 200.... or was it 20?? Super small place with a little motel and 4 antique shops. 2 of them not open. One lady had a $1 Jessie Beck Riverside small crown ( I didn't even ask the price..they came out in a hoard last year). And the other guy had 5 of these Pioneer Club/California Club chips. I bought 2 for $2 each. The other 3 were warped horribly from sitting in the sun. A nice drive...I will do it again someday!!

Sadly I missed the turn to go to Amador City....where Bud Meyers has a shop. Next time Bud!!
