Before it was The Riverboat, the building housed Musso's Bonanza Club in the left half, and Hank's Cocktail Lounge (owned by Henry and Adele Staben) in the right half.

Eric W. Zink, owner of The Riverboat casino, also owned the Stagecoach Casino a block to the north (formerly the South Tahoe Club on the corner of U.S. 50 and Kahle Drive), but I still have never seen a photo of the Stagecoach Casino. This ad is from the same 1970 Yellow Pages for Western Nevada.
