EBay seems to redefine itself often. For a while they were pushing fixed-price listings, then they discouraged them and promoted auctions, and my most recent deal from them offered 2000 free fixed-price listings (as long as it had a 30-day or GTC duration).

They have also cut back on the free listings; let's see if they cut these even more, or if they backtrack.
