Not being cute here, but both chips you received are the chips that were offered... It's happened to me when I first started collecting and that's when I started asking every question in the book before bidding/buying a chip.

Not saying here if the seller is right or wrong, though a color and insert description might have been in order while the seller had those chips in hand and the illustrated auction right in front of his eyes.
