There was more than one Vegas Vic sign
Names of the sign designer
Orignally said ‘Howdy podner! Welcome to Downtown Las Vegas, home of the Pioneer Club’
(I only remember the voice saying 'Howdy podner!')
How Lee Marvin shot arrows at Vic and had the voice silenced for several years
Hale later re-recorded the voice to restart the audio
