Bill Watson was the manager of the D4C ranch for Hoot Gibson.
He gave one of the HHR chips.
He was involved with making them. It was well after the 1980 date but for some reason I did not write it down. Borland was involved also.

I talked to Hoot Gibson's wife in Laughlin. She was not aware of any chips.
