Steve, the winning bidder contacted me after the sale and requested a reduction in his purchase price. I agreed to lower it by $60, as I felt bad that he was stampeded into bidding on and on. I also wanted to make certain the buyer wanted the Circus Circus 50c for $80 and have his written email that he did, so no further reductions or return.
Although it was not mentioned, I now wonder if my description of "gold hot-stamped" was taken by a gullible bidder to mean the chip was covered in ACTUAL GOLD.
Has anyone else out there had any confusion over gold (as a color) versus gold (Gold! Gold! Real Gold!)? If so, the hobby needs to change its descriptive wording of such chips.
