Bass Pro Shops is just one example of the direction A.C. is trying to go into and not just casinos. As you have stated; It, by itself will not save the city. There are no casinos in Branson, Missouri ... it's primarily an entertainment city... and the last I heard was a pretty successful one. Hopefully, A.C. is headed in that new direction (with some casinos). Whatever brings more visitors, shoppers and tourists into town is good for the entire city. Take a ride towards the Inlet sometime and see all the new elevated residential housing currently under construction near Revel. The newspapers like to focus on the blighted run down houses and empty lots in A.C. It sells newspapers. Well, several of the empty large parcels are now being developed. Have you seen any POSITIVE photos of this new development published in the press? I'll bet you have not. Maybe I will take some photos this weekend (like "Joe the Creeper") and post them here.
